Overview
The Source App will take any Eventbrite ID and when appended to the Source Eventbrite App URL, will run inside an iFrame Block that is part of a SAM.
For example, the bolded section in this URL is where the EventBrite ID is added
https://apps.sourcesync.io/eventbrite#/:eventID
and when an ID has been added will look like this:
https://apps.sourcesync.io/eventbrite#/99754484348
How to get an Eventbrite ID
- Visit eventbrite.com
- Search and Click on any event to get to that event's page as seen here:
- Locate the numbers in the URL as eventbrite.com's website while viewing the event. That is the "eventId"
- Append the ID by copy/pasting or typing it directly at the end of the app URL as shown above. For this example it will be:
https://apps.sourcesync.io/eventbrite#/152200472711 - The event will be loaded into the Eventbrite App via this link
- Copy/paste the entire URL into an iFrame Block:
Clicking "Block Preview", will display the event as it will appear as it will in the SAM when opened. You can enter different values for the px value to give more display space (top-bottom) as needed.
Note that the EventBrite experience inside a SAM is the exact same experience as opening the event directly on the EventBrite event page. The Source APP/Block process wraps the exact experience to work within the SAM. A good preview of the SAM experience is to open the EventBrite page for the event on a mobile device or via a responsive design tester like Responsinator.
