How to Add a Ticketmaster Event to a SAM

Source Digital's Ticketmaster App allows for a Ticketmaster event to be used inside an iFrame Block. The current version of the app uses the Discovery API meaning it can display the information but does not allow for actual seat selection and ticket purchase. A future version of the App may include that functionality.

The first step is to search for the type of SAM for what will be included in the SAM based on these categories using the Source App Ticketmaster Finder:

1. Events (a particular event like a game, concert, etc.)
2. Venues (Location, auditorium, stadium, etc.)
3. Artists (singer, performer, etc.)
4. Sports Events (all vents for a given sport)

Search Events

Use this to search for a particular event such as a concert or game. For Example, searching for a team name like "The New England Patriots" will return:

Once the particular event is found, click the copy icon. This will add to the clipboard the App URL to be used in the URL Field in iFrame Block. It will render all the information via the Ticketmaster Discovery API:

The process is the same for a venue, artist, and sports. In the example of a venue, it will list all upcoming events at the venue. For example, the Boston TD Garden:
